Rental Policy
Dreamchaser Houseboat and Water Toy Rentals is located at Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa the largest resort on Lake Ouachita. Amenities include a full service marina, world class spa, restaurant, Ocean Extreme scuba services, and horseback riding stables. We are located 27 miles west of Hot Springs National Park, the #1 tourism destination in Arkansas. From Bathhouse Row to Oaklawn Park from its historic downtown to Magic Springs, Hot Springs (hotsprings.org) offers unlimited options for an exciting day trip.
Rental Policy: The renter must be a responsible adult 25 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and credit card. Renter is required to sign a rental contract, waiver, and passenger manifest prior to boarding
Deposit & Payment: A $500 deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposits may be made by check, debit, or credit card. Full payment for the total rental fee is due 90 days prior to departure. Please note that your deposit is not part of the rental price. When your boat is returned on time, reasonably clean, and undamaged, your deposit will be refunded by check within 10 days. Full payment is required at the time of booking for reservations made within 90 days of departure.
Debit cards: Debit cards may be used for payments but a credit card must be on file prior to boarding your rental.
Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation made prior to 90 days of departure will be charged a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 90 days of departure are subject to forfeiture of your entire rental fee. We will always attempt to rebook your trip and if successful your rental fees will be refunded minus a $150 cancellation fee plus 3% of any credit or debit card charges.
Boarding Time: Boarding is between 2 and 5 pm on your departure date. Please check-in with our office prior to boarding any houseboat. All houseboats must be ready to depart our dock by 6pm (5pm super saver periods) or the boat must remain in dock until the next morning. Please leave plenty of time to check-in, load and receive your orientation (at least 1 hour) prior to departure.
Check-out Time: All boats must be at the no wake zone buoys between 7:30 am and 9:00 am so you can be refueled and in your slip before your 10 am check out. All fuel costs must be paid directly to Mountain Harbor Marina at the time of refueling.
Pet Policy: We know you all love your pets and that most will not cause a problem but DreamChaser has a strict no pet policy of any kind. Any violation of this policy will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit. We recommend Lake Hamilton Animal Hospital in Hot Springs for any pet boarding needs.
